“What I appreciate most is that Globalia always stood by us during the challenging moments. The team never exposed our company or jeopardized the relationships we had built over the years. As Globalia Logistics Network celebrates its 10th anniversary, we spoke with Mr David Guillermo Maidana, General Manager of CIS Global Services SRL, Globalia member in Buenos Aires Argentina. As a member that has been part of Globalia Logistics Network since its early years, Mr David Guillermo Maidana, General Manager of CIS Global Services SRL, has witnessed the network’s evolution from a promising initiative into one of the industry’s most trusted logistics networks. In this interview, he reflects on a decade of collaboration, discusses how Globalia supported his company through challenging times, and shares why trust, commitment, and strong personal relationships remain the foundation of lasting success in international freight forwarding.

Q: What does being a member of Globalia Logistics Network mean to CIS Global Services?

A: For us, being part of Globalia means belonging to a true international logistics family. It is much more than a business network. It is a community of professionals built on trust, commitment, and mutual collaboration. Those values are what have made our experience so meaningful over the last ten years.

Q: CIS Global Services has been part of the network since its early days. How would you describe this journey?

A: It has been an extraordinary experience. We have had the privilege of watching Globalia grow from its beginnings into one of the world’s most respected logistics networks. At the same time, our own company has evolved alongside it, creating valuable partnerships and expanding our international reach.

Q: Argentina has experienced significant economic challenges over the past decade. How did your relationship with Globalia help during those periods?

A: Anyone familiar with Argentina knows that we have faced numerous economic and financial crises. Despite those difficulties, CIS Global Services always honoured its commitments and responsibilities to fellow network members.

What I appreciate most is that Globalia always stood by us during those challenging moments. The team never exposed our company or jeopardized the relationships we had built over the years. Instead, they showed understanding, support, and genuine solidarity. That level of human commitment is something we deeply value and sets this network apart.

Q: How has Globalia contributed to the growth of your company?

A: Globalia has played a significant role in our development. The network has helped us strengthen our international presence, create new business opportunities, and build lasting relationships with reliable agents around the world. Over the years, we have also reinforced our financial and international structure. Today, we operate bank accounts in the United States, allowing us to facilitate transactions and provide more efficient solutions to our business partners worldwide.

For us, being part of Globalia means belonging to a true international logistics family. It is much more than a business network. It is a community of professionals built on trust, commitment, and mutual collaboration. Those values are what have made our experience so meaningful over the last ten years.

Q: What are some of the current projects and goals for CIS Global Services?

A: We are currently working towards obtaining the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification, which reflects our commitment to security, transparency, and operational excellence throughout the international supply chain. It is an important milestone that will further strengthen the quality of the services we provide to our customers and partners.

Q: Would you recommend Globalia to other freight forwarders?

A: Without hesitation. I would recommend Globalia Logistics Network to any freight forwarder looking to expand internationally. But beyond the business opportunities, I would recommend it because of the quality of the people and the values that have guided this network for the past decade.

Q: What advice would you give to new members joining the network?

A: As a veteran within the network, I would advice new members to get involved, build relationships, and make the most of every opportunity to connect with fellow agents. The real value of Globalia lies in its people and in the trust that is built day after day through collaboration and mutual support.

Q: Finally, what message would you like to share with the Globalia team on its 10th anniversary?

A: I would like to thank the entire Globalia team for ten years of dedication, vision, and hard work. For CIS Global Services, it has been a true honour to be part of this story from the very beginning. Happy 10th Anniversary, Globalia. We look forward to continuing this journey and growing together for many years to come.
