Rishi Desai from Globalia Hazira Surat on Growth, Partnerships, and the Power of Networking

“Having already been part of several logistics networks, we wanted to align ourselves with a network that prioritizes the quality of its agents over sheer quantity. We are proud to say that being part of the network has helped us secure a substantial volume of business and build valuable long-term collaborations.”

As Globalia Logistics Network marks its 10th anniversary, we are speaking with members who have helped shape the network’s success through their commitment, collaboration, and active participation. In this special interview with Rishi Desai, Director of LogiBeats, Globalia member in Hazira Surat, India, we get to know about the company’s journey, the value it has gained from the network, and its vision for the future of freight forwarding.

From building long-term partnerships across continents to embracing new industry trends, Rishi shares his insights on what makes Globalia a valuable community and why active participation continues to be the key to lasting success.

Q. Could you briefly introduce LogiBeats and tell us about your company’s journey so far?

A. Founded in January 2017 as Caretaker Logistics with just three dedicated employees, LogiBeats has grown into a thriving organization of over 32 professionals. As we approach a successful decade in the logistics industry, we proudly serve more than 500 trusted customers through several branches across India. Rooted in Surat, the textile and diamond capital of India and home to the port city of Hazira, LogiBeats continues to expand its footprint while staying true to its values of reliability, efficiency, and customer trust.

Q. What initially motivated you to join the network?

A. Globalia is a unique platform that grants entry to only a single agent from each region, ensuring exclusivity and quality representation. Having already been part of several logistics networks, we wanted to align ourselves with a network that prioritizes the quality of its agents over sheer quantity.

“We are living in a new world where war, AI, automation, and abrupt policy changes have been accepted as the “normal.” At LogiBeats, we recognize these shifts and are continuously evolving to meet them head-on. Our strategy includes recruiting fresh talent and enhancing the skill sets of our existing team members, ensuring that we remain agile, resilient, and future-ready in this dynamic environment.”

Q. Looking back, what have been the biggest benefits of being part of Globalia?

A. We are proud to share that we have secured a substantial volume of business from India to Colombia and a few project cargoes to Africa. Moreover, these opportunities have also strengthened our confidence in the value of working with trusted network partners.

Q. Your company is one of the network’s most active members. Why do you believe it’s important to stay actively engaged?

A. Being active helps an organization promote its services to members within the network. One of Globalia’s unique incentives is the referral program, which helps organizations earn discounts on their membership fee.

Q. Have you developed any valuable partnerships, friendships, or long-term business relationships through Globalia? Could you share an example?

A. Yes, we have built a very strong, long-lasting business relationship with the agent North Carga S.A.S., Globalia member in Bogota, Colombia. Through them, we have gained access to some of the country’s biggest pharmaceutical companies. We can firmly confirm that North Carga has been our loyal partner since June 2025. Additionally, over the years, we have successfully managed numerous shipments, but two in particular stand out for the project business they generated for our company. These shipments were facilitated through trusted network partners and contributed meaningfully to our growth.

Q. What advice would you give to members who are not yet taking full advantage of the opportunities the network offers?

A. We have been observing the significant volume of business being exchanged within the network. At LogiBeats, our philosophy has always been to consign shipments to our network partners, as we believe this is the best way to initiate relationships that grow into long-lasting collaborations. We strongly encourage all partners within the network to adopt the same approach, fostering mutual trust and sustainable growth for everyone involved.

Q. Logistics is constantly evolving. What trends do you think will have the greatest impact on the industry over the next few years, and how is LogiBeats preparing for them?

A. We are living in a new world where war, AI, automation, and abrupt policy changes have been accepted as the “normal.” At LogiBeats, we recognize these shifts and are continuously evolving to meet them head-on. Our strategy includes recruiting fresh talent and enhancing the skill sets of our existing team members, ensuring that we remain agile, resilient, and future-ready in this dynamic environment.

Q. As Globalia celebrates its 10th anniversary, what are your hopes for the network’s future?

A. We sincerely hope that Globalia continues to expand its territory and strengthen its agent network, thereby creating even greater opportunities for collaboration. In addition, we believe that conducting webinars and training sessions on current market topics would add significant value to members.

Regional webinars, such as Inter-Asia and Inter-Africa sessions, would further enhance visibility and foster stronger connections among agents within the network. These initiatives would not only enrich knowledge but also build deeper engagement and trust among partners.

Q. Finally, what message would you like to share with your fellow Globalia members?

A. It is a great group of people and a great community to work with. At LogiBeats, we firmly believe that consigning shipments within the network is the best way to initiate relationships that grow into long-lasting partnerships. We encourage all fellow members to embrace this philosophy by supporting one another, exchanging business, and building visibility across regions. Together, we can strengthen the network, create sustainable growth, and ensure that Globalia continues to stand out as a community that values quality over quantity. Let us move forward united, with a shared vision of reliability, transparency, and mutual success.

How to Choose the Right Freight Forwarders Network: Expert Insights from Maria Serrano

In an opinion piece for Diario El Canal, Maria Serrano, Head Office Manager of Freight Forwarders Network Solutions, outlines what makes a logistics network truly reliable and how Globalia Logistics Network stands out in a competitive market

In a recent feature published by Diario El Canal, Maria Serrano, Head Office Manager of Freight Forwarders Network Solutions (FFNS), the parent company of Globalia Logistics Network, Conqueror Freight Network, and The Cooperative Logistics Network, shared valuable insights on how freight forwarders can choose the right logistics network in an increasingly digital and competitive industry.

As she explains, the role of freight forwarders’ networks has evolved dramatically over the past decade. “The question is no longer whether to join a network, but rather which one to choose,” she said, highlighting how networks have become essential for forwarders seeking to stay competitive against multinational logistics companies.

How to choose the best logistics network?

The Growing Importance of Reliable Networks

With the number of logistics alliances rising rapidly, Serrano cautioned that not all of them offer the same value or sustainability. Some networks, she noted, are created without a solid structure or long-term vision, while others allow uncontrolled expansion that leads to internal competition and instability. “This often results in forwarders jumping from one network to another without establishing lasting relationships or achieving tangible business growth,” she pointed out. “That’s why networks today must distinguish themselves through real stability, trust, and quality if they want to earn members’ long-term commitment.”

What Freight Forwarders Should Look For

Serrano identified several key factors that freight forwarders should evaluate before joining a network:

  • Trust and experience: A network with years of operation and long-term members demonstrates true resilience and credibility.

  • Quality of members: Forwarders should look for networks that thoroughly vet their members to ensure professionalism and reliability.

  • Limited competition: Exclusive or semi-exclusive networks allow members to enjoy visibility and real business opportunities.

  • Balanced global coverage: A well-distributed global presence ensures seamless cooperation across continents.

  • In-person networking: Annual meetings and conventions are vital for building genuine, lasting partnerships.

  • Digital tools: Networks that embrace technology offering solutions like instant online quoting or shipment management apps give members a competitive edge.

The Value of Belonging to the Right Network

According to Serrano, being part of a network doesn’t automatically guarantee more business, it requires time, effort, and proactive engagement. However, being part of the right network can make a remarkable difference. “At FFNS, our goal has always been to provide stability, transparency, and opportunities for collaboration,” she said. “Each of our networks, Conqueror Freight Network, The Cooperative Logistics Network, and Globalia Logistics Network has been designed to meet different business models while maintaining the same high standards of quality, financial security, and trust.”

Globalia Logistics Network: Building Trust and Collaboration

She highlighted Globalia Logistics Network as a prime example of how a well-structured network helps independent freight forwarders grow. With members across more than 140 countries, Globalia maintains rigorous entry requirements and financial checks to ensure every agent in the network meets the highest standards. “Globalia offers an environment where independent freight forwarders can connect and collaborate with reliable partners worldwide,” she explained. “We promote professional relationships among agents whose financial stability and operational consistency have been verified, giving members the confidence to expand globally while minimizing risk.”

Beyond its global reach, what truly sets Globalia apart is the personal connection it fosters through its Annual Meetings. These gatherings give members a rare opportunity to meet face-to-face, build genuine trust, and turn partnerships into real business opportunities, something that’s hard to replicate in larger, less personal industry events.

Additionally, Globalia continues to invest in technology and member support. Its FreightViewer platform allows members to generate instant online quotes, improving transparency and efficiency in day-to-day operations.

A Commitment to Long-Term Growth

She concluded that while joining a network requires commitment and active participation, the rewards are worth it when members choose wisely. “Being part of a network doesn’t guarantee success, but being part of the right one can make all the difference,” she said.
With over a decade of experience, Freight Forwarders Network Solutions continues to provide a secure, technology-driven, and collaborative environment for independent freight forwarders. Globalia Logistics Network, Conqueror Freight Network, and The Cooperative Logistics Network stand as pillars of that vision, empowering logistics companies to thrive in a connected and ever-evolving global marketplace.
