Q. What motivated your company to join Globalia Logistics Network?

A. We joined Globalia to build relationships with reliable overseas partners and expand the services we can offer our customers beyond Japan. We believe that strong international partnerships are essential to providing dependable logistics solutions and creating new business opportunities. Globalia’s commitment to digital transformation, including tools such as FreightViewer, was another attraction for us. We see these tools as opportunities to improve efficiency and facilitate cooperation between members. The network’s exclusive membership model, with one member per location, also appealed to us because we believe it encourages closer relationships and a stronger commitment to developing business together.

Our established export business provides a solid foundation for cooperation with destination agents. By working closely with fellow members, we hope to connect our Japan-side expertise with their local capabilities, strengthen our presence in Europe and Africa, and explore new opportunities across the network.

Q. What are your key strengths or specialties that other members should know about?

A. Our main strength is our practical experience in exporting used goods from Japan. Japanese used products are valued worldwide for their quality and reliability, and we help overseas customers access this market through dependable export logistics. We handle approximately 1,000 TEU of exports per week, primarily used vehicles, automotive parts and other used goods. Our substantial shipment volumes and strong relationships with shipping lines help us secure competitive freight rates, reliable space allocations and suitable service options for our customers and overseas partners.

Used-goods shipments often require careful coordination with suppliers and yards, appropriate loading arrangements, and close attention to cargo condition and documentation. Our experienced team understands these operational requirements and supports partners throughout the Japan-side export process, from cargo collection and container loading to shipping arrangements and documentation. We believe that our combination of operational experience, established logistics relationships and commitment to customer service makes us a valuable partner for companies looking to develop business involving Japan.

We are also looking for destination partners who can support our customers with local customs clearance, delivery and other services as required. We believe that successful partnerships should generate opportunities in both directions, allowing members to support one another’s customers while expanding their own international business.

With over 15 years of experience and a team that understands the practical requirements of international logistics, we are confident in our ability to develop solutions tailored to each shipment. Our aim is to build lasting partnerships that open new trade lanes, generate mutual business and broaden the range of services we can offer together.
