The partnership reinforces Globalia’s commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation across the Mediterranean logistics sector

Globalia Logistics Network has announced its role as a Supporting Organization for Mediterranean Ports and Logistics 2026, one of the region’s leading events dedicated to port operations, shipping, and supply chain development. Scheduled to take place from 28th to 30th April 2026 at the Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa in Porto, Portugal, the event will bring together key stakeholders from across the Mediterranean maritime and logistics industry.

Hosted by the Administration of the Ports of Douro, Leixões and Viana do Castelo (APDL) and supported by YILPORT Holding as Strategic Partner, the conference is expected to attract over 400 high-level participants, including government officials, port authorities, shipping executives, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.

The event will begin with an exclusive tour of Porto’s port and logistics facilities, offering delegates a closer look at the infrastructure and operations that drive efficiency and growth in the region. Over the following two days, the conference will feature 40 international speakers addressing some of the most pressing issues facing the sector today, including port digitalisation, green shipping corridors, infrastructure development, hinterland connectivity, and supply chain resilience.

Porto’s strategic position on Portugal’s Atlantic coast makes it a vital link between Atlantic and Mediterranean trade routes. The city continues to play a central role in facilitating international commerce while supporting a wide range of industries, from shipping and logistics to manufacturing and shipbuilding.

By supporting Mediterranean Ports and Logistics 2026, Globalia Logistics Network further reinforces its position as an active player in the global logistics community, committed to promoting collaboration, innovation, and business growth for its members. This partnership not only enhances Globalia’s visibility within the Mediterranean region but also creates valuable opportunities for its network members to connect with industry leaders, explore emerging trends, and build long-term business relationships in an increasingly interconnected logistics environment.

Members interested in strengthening their presence in the Mediterranean Ports are encouraged to take part in this event.
